AMPLIFIED 2022 - RWENZORI REGION
The 2022 Amplified project sought to promote inclusiveness, civil and social rights, and fundamental liberties among women, youths, older persons, faith-based groups, and the wider community in the Rwenzori region, Uganda. Majorly the project aimed at amplifying the work and voices of grass-root women’s human rights organizations in the Rwenzori region through the use of technology and Digital Advocacy skills.
The project team members carried out a field survey in the Rwenzori region to identify the appropriate beneficiaries. The pre-visits were conducted in August 2021 and the following organizations were selected;
1. Bundibugyo Women with Disabilities Living With HIV/AIDs
2. Rwenzori Women Health Support Initiative
3. Centre for Gender Equality
4. Rwenzori Development Foundation
5. Advocacy for Women Health Support Initiative
6. National Community of Women Living with HIV and AIDS
