Unwanted Witness Uganda seeks to improve the online safety and security of human rights defenders, including artists, bloggers, Netizens and freelance journalists.

It will conduct trainings for HRDs on how to plan, manage, and respond to security emergencies online and how to use new media technologies.

The session will look at how activists will seek to improve their safety and security while working online; at the same time planning on how to detect threats and plan how to treat them. Activists will then be trained in digital safety and security with basic tools
