On December 20th 2013, Parliament passed the Anti-Pornography Bill (2014) which was later assented to by the President on February 6th 2014. The Anti-Pornography Act seeks to define and create the offence of pornography; to provide for the prohibition of pornography; to establish the Pornography Control Committee and prescribe its functions; and for other related matters.
